Clippings, brochures, programs, booklets, pamphlets, reports, articles, research papers, maps, and other miscellaneous items, 1891-1988, pertaining to the history of Highland Falls and Orange County. Subjects include churches, local people, Revolutionary War, 18th century homes, women in Orange County, the artist Robert W. Weir, and West Point. Items of note include thesis, 1974, by David G. Coon on "The Orange Blossoms," the 124th New York Volunteers, a Civil War regiment drawn from Orange County; and typescript history of Highland Falls by Katherine Sanders, 1968. Collection also includes three scrapbooks of clippings on the activities of the Highland Falls community group, CHAIN (Community Help, Action, and Improvement Now), 1980-1986.
